I wasn’t planning to be in Tel Aviv today. Work has unexpectedly brought me here with some of my colleagues. And being here is not a bad thing. Quite the opposite. I really like it here. I like the people, the remarkably harsh beauty of the desert running right into the sea. I like the hazy waves of heat radiating from the earth, blurring the horizon, challenging my camera and my mind to capture the feeling of this smallest of countries with still images. It is mostly beyond me.Today we explored an artist village in Carmel, Ein Hod (http://ein-hod.israel.net/).
