After a great breakfast and fabulous coffee, Michal, Kendra, Ken and I headed to the Carmel Art Market in Tel Aviv. This art market runs Tuesdays and Fridays and is full of vendors selling arts and crafts they’ve made themselves. It’s wonderfully colorful and fun. Just walking down the street is a treat.
Every five minutes I see something I love – scarves, jewelry, photos, ceramics. I spend 350 NIS in 30 minutes on some great earrings, a fabulous stone necklace of orange and blue and a moving photograph of the Wailing Wall.
Kendra is fascinated by the scarves. I’m fascinated with the colorful people.
It’s also Gay Pride day. So the market is pretty empty ’cause everyone is out looking for a place along the parade route.
After the Market we head back to the apartment, get the car and head to Cesaria to explore the ruins.
