This funny and insightful talk on vulnerability is really a talk about courage and living life in a way that allows one to really, authentically connect with others, and to be able to walk through the fear, shame and guilt into a position of grace and joy. I am struggling right now with feeling ‘not enough’ and I struggled so hard I ended up in the hospital.
Now I have to go back to work and I feel sheepish and stupid for being sick, which is actually just dumb. I know when I am authentic I end up amazed by the connections that happen with others. And that by being vulnerable, others will step up and fill in making me and the whole team stronger. Brene Brown articulates an essential human theme and exposes it as something to be valued and something we can and should embrace. I am going to watch this video alot. I hope you do, too.
