Golfing with teenagers is a hoot. They are so, well, moody. And easily swayed from discouraged to cocky that their emotional state shifts from shot to shot. Much like the rest of us out there on the course, only they haven’t figured out yet how to mask their emotions.

I love golfing with my girlfriends. There is something wonderful about driving around in a little cart with your own personal cheer leading squad. For me, the women I golf with, even the strangers who pick up the 4th slot in our group, are amazingly supportive and encouraging.

Golf is a funny little game. Bag o sticks. Tiny white ball. Arcane and confusing rules. But I like it. I like walking down the fairways. I like addressing the ball. What I like most, is being with my friends.
